Visit 1: Make sure baby is latching well and getting enough to eat

Visit 3: Follow-up visits to check baby’s progress and ensure you feel comfortable with your feeding routine
Visit 4: Address pumping and introduce a bottle if we haven’t already

Before the baby arrives we will discuss what to expect during the first 24-72 hrs of baby’s life.
Demonstrate positioning and discuss signs of a good & effective latch.
Discuss hunger cues and how to know if your baby is getting enough to eat.
Visit 2:
Make sure baby is latching well and getting enough to eat.
Address any breastfeeding concerns.
Discuss safe sleep and answer any questions you may have regarding the care of your newborn.
Put together a care plan for your first week at home.
